This project was developed while I lived in Rome. The city's history is evident in the physical layers visible in the streets, architecture, and ruins. Fragments give clues to the past lives of the buildings; patterns, both natural and decorative, fill the public spaces. Using found objects and patterns inspired by Roman architecture, I've given these items new context, writing the next chapter in these objects’ stories.
